2023 Community Services Recovery Fund

Helping our community's service organizations adapt and modernize.

September 20, 2023 – Powell River Community Foundation is pleased to announce the following funds which were awarded in our community through the Government of Canada’s Community Services Recovery Fund:

  • Malaspina Art Society ($17,800) 
  • Powell River Community Services Association ($10,500) 
  • Inclusion Powell River Society ($90,000)
  • Four Tides Hospice Society ($17,727)
  • Knuckleheads Winter Recreation Association ($25,000)

A total of $161,027 in funding was awarded.

The Community Services Recovery Fund will enable the organizations that serve our diverse communities to adapt and modernize their programs and services and to invest in the future of their organizations, staff, and volunteers. together, we can rebuild from the isolation of the COVID-19 pandemic and build a more just and equitable future for those in Powell River.”
